Like many people who teach, the days are endlessly busy and can be extremely full on, so it is with some trepidation that I start the summer holidays. Six glorious weeks of empty days, 10 days in Portugal at the end of the holidays with family relaxing and enjoying the weather. However, it is a double edged sword, as it always takes me about a week to fully relax and appreciate the calm, after what is always a frenetic and busy race to the finish line. Time now to put up my feet, read, cycle, walk, clean the house properly again, cook and meet up with friends and family.
