In our new specification for Eduqas we have two Language exam papers and I have already thought long and hard about how to teach the analysis questions and move away from the formulaic PEE/PEA here: http://ift.tt/2qwh6eR.
However, the evaluation question in the Fiction Paper 1A – A5 and the Non-Fiction Paper 2A – A4 has proved much more problematic and been one that students have struggled with. This has made me think very carefully about what I can do to teach this and to think about why this is.
