I’ve been in love with The Tempest since I was a teen: I played Ariel, wrote about it in A-Level Theatre Studies, got one of Caliban’s speeches tattooed upon my person, saw Ralph Fiennes play Prospero, watched it at The Globe and recently saw the spectacular RSC production with Ariel live-motion captured through the kind of technical wizardry Shakespeare could not have even conceived.

I’ve always wanted to teach it and now, as the person in charge of our KS3 curriculum I have seized my opportunity.
