After work at Henley on Monday 2nd November, I
found Mum seriously laid low at home – weak, constantly tired and off her food. We’d been filled in by dad towards the end of
October (and somewhat after the event) on a serious escalation in her
diverticulitis symptoms, including some bleeding and a colonoscopy on 15.10
(all clear for cancer, thank the Lord).
In spite of being discharged after the investigation, she’d continued to
feel increasingly wretched and feeble.
An interim appointment with the on-call GP hadn’t really helped, and she
was due to see her own GP again on Thurs…
